Arriving at Parliament House, an uncharacteristically animated Prime Minister waived at the waiting news camerapersons and indicated a 'V' sign before entering his office there.

When newspersons asked about the government's prospects in the vote, he responded by saying "we will prove majority on the floor of the House".

Singh would move in the Lok Sabha a one-line confidence motion -- "That this House expresses confidence in the Council of Ministers". The voting on the motion will be held tomorrow.

This will be the first time that Singh will be moving a confidence motion in the House since the Congress-led coalition came to power in 2004
